Sr. Industrial Designer
Be responsible for the industrial design of a variety of consumer electronics, footwear, and home ware. The specific tasks include project management, customer relations, consumer research, competitive marketplace analysis, industrial design, refinement, and documentation of designs. Develop designs using hand sketching and 2D/3D CAD (computer aided drafting). Manage a project from initiation through to completion with excellent internal and client communication skills with a desire to work on a wide range of products in a creative and multi-disciplinary collaborative studio. Require Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and five years of progressive experience as an Industrial Designer. Experience with market research and competitive benchmarking. Experience with developing uniform brand across product lines. Knowledge of relevant software including Rhinoceros 3D, 2D/3D CAD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
